In continuing to improve the QRIScloud service, and following our initial QRISalert notification on 22 July regarding upcoming changes to collection storage infrastructure, we can now confirm that a major change will take place over the following time period:
Thursday, 24 December 2020, 5:00pm AEST to
Monday, 4 January 2021, 9:00am AEST
During this period, we will be working with the vendor to replace the existing end-of-life hierarchical storage management (HSM) system. All of your data will be safe while this upgrade takes place, however, all access to data collections will be disabled. This includes:
- SSH/SFTP/SCP to data via data.qriscloud.org
- NFS access to data on Virtual Machines running on QRIScloud
- Collections being accessible on the Awoonga, FlashLite, and Tinaroo HPC clusters.
We apologise for any inconvenience this outage may cause.
Kind regards,
QRIScloud Support.
