Advice: Problem with latest Nextcloud apps


We have had reports that the latest versions of the Nextcloud Desktop client and the Desktop Mobile apps are not working against the QRIScloud Nextcloud service.  A common symptom is that the client / app reports an error like this:

    Failed to connect to Nextcloud at
    Host not found

We are investigating the cause of this problem.  In the meantime:

  • This does not affect access to Nextcloud from a web browser.
  • This should not affect people who have an older version of the client / app installed.
