On Monday 22nd October, QRIScloud staff will be performing maintenance work on the Nextcloud Server. We will be upgrading the NextCloud server from version 12.0.4 to 12.0.11 and increasing the size of disk partition that the Nextcloud database resides on.
This will entail a short service outage of approximately 30 minutes starting at 8am.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
2018-10-22 09:10 - We are having problems resizing the database partition, and this prolonging the Nextcloud service outage.
2018-10-22 14:45 - We are restoring the Nextcloud database from a backup. We expect that the restore will take roughly 24 hours from when we started; i.e. tomorrow morning.
2018-10-23 09:10 - Based on current progress, the database restore is going to take roughly another 24 hours. Our current best estimate for return to service is noon tomorrow (2018-10-24).
2018-10-24 11:00 - The database restore has not finished yet, so we are revising the estimate for return to service to mid afternoon.
2018-10-25 12:30 - The Nextcloud database is now restored on an interim server, and Nextcloud is working again. In the next day or so we are likely to switch the database back to a more performant platform. This may result in share links created between now and the switch being lost.
