We are currently experiencing networking problems within the Polaris data centre. This is causing some services to appear (very) slow or unreliable. For example, access to the NFS servers is affected.

UPDATE - 2017-01-13 11:05 - We have identified the faulty network switch that was causing the problems. The alternate switch has now taken over and normal service has been restored. The vendor is currently attempting to diagnose the faulty switch, and there is a risk that this could cause further brief interruptions.
